About Admiral
Admiral Group plc is a British financial services company founded in 1991 by Henry Engelhardt. Admiral is headquartered in Cardiff, Wales, U.K.
What does Admiral offer?
Admiral offers three levels of car insurance coverage and six different policy types. This company is mainly known for its multi-car policies because it’s the BEST. Its multi-car policy allows the policyholder to have only one renewal date.
It aligns every time a new car is added to the policy. Since 2005, Admiral has insured over 8 million vehicles with multi-car insurance. Here’s the best part, for each vehicle that has been on the policy for more than three months, the customer gets a full year of no-claims bonus.
However, the no-claims rule doesn’t include other cars on the policy. Admiral also offers single car policies and “Black Box” insurance known as LittleBox.
It would help if you understood that Admiral does not underwrite all of their car insurance, which means Admiral, RAC, or Amtrust may write your policy.

What is Black Box auto insurance?
Black Box, known as LittleBox, is Admiral car insurance for young drivers; it offers benefits for youthful drivers that are under Admiral’s protection. These benefits include free theft-tracking and no curfews.
The no curfew perk will not apply to those who drive at night often. This policy allows the drivers to demonstrate safe driving behaviors by a black box recording device installed in drivers’ vehicles which monitors the drivers’ actions and, in exchange, the driver’s insurance premiums reduced.
If you want to get this policy, your car needs to be worth at least £250, it needs to be driven at least 1,900 miles annually, and the vehicle must have been manufactured in the last 15 years.
About Admiral MultiCar insurance
Admiral is really known for its focus on multi-car insurance deals. Admiral multi-car insurance policies have a number of perks and benefits, such as replicated no claims discounts and available savings as more cars are added to the policy.
Plus, one single policy date applies to all vehicles under multi-car cover, making it easy for the policyholder to keep track of renewal dates. Every car in this type of policy gets its own discount, and they don’t have to be registered at the same address to be included in the same policy and earn a discount.
So basically, you can add your friends or family’s vehicles to your policy, split the bill on the policy and earn discounts.
As each car earn its own discount, each claim only affects them. Neither you nor any of the other policyholders won’t be affected in any way.
And don’t worry, as mentioned, each car gets its own perks, including the no-claims discount. Therefore, you can still have your no-claims discount if someone makes a claim.
