What does Protect My Car covers
Protect My Car offers three levels of warranty coverage:
• Supreme:
Protect My Car’s Supreme plan is very similar to a manufacturer’s warranty. The Supreme plan is designed in a way that is perfect for people who need additional coverage because they plan to keep their new cars beyond the manufacturer’s factory warranty term, which is usually three years.
• Select:
The Select plan for vehicles with more than 50,000 miles. It will protect the cars that are just outside the requirements for the Supreme plan. Everything that is in the Supreme plan is also in the Select plan, except for the turbocharger and navigation systems.
• Driveline:
The Driveline plan is specifically for older vehicles, vehicles that are 4 -10 years old and have more than 80,000 miles. In Driveline, you will get everything that is included in Supreme and Select plans but excludes the front and rear suspension, turbocharger, and navigation system. But on the other hand, the Driveline plan covers the powertrain plus cooling, electrical, and more.
Ambassador Maintenance Plans
One important fact you should know about Protect My Car is that this insurance company will not offer extended warranty plans to vehicles over 13 years old. Instead, the company provides Ambassador Maintenance Plans. Ambassador Maintenance Plan includes:
1. Guaranteed discounts between 50 and 75 percent on repairs
2. 24/7 roadside assistance
3. Rental car reimbursement
4. And more for older cars
However, the Protect My Car Ambassador plans do not provide the same protection as they do in extended warranties.
